Types of Study
Important Update - Change from Monthly Intake to Term-based System starting from October 13th 2025.
The Term-based System will improve academic quality, scheduling consistency, and help everyone learn better together.
Each Term is 2 months with clear start and end dates. There are 5 Terms per year. Full time students will study two levels each term
while Part time students will study 1 level each term.
Full-time
- In-person at our campus in Phnom Penh
- 120 hours of learning
- Mon - Fri (8 weeks)
- 8.30am - 12pm
- The Term-based System helps you to complete all 10 Levels* of Study in 5 Terms

Evenings
Our evening program is online – these classes are very popular with people all over Cambodia, but many people in Phnom Penh also appreciate the flexibility to join from anywhere. The classes are very engaging, and students really enjoy the quality and interaction with their teachers and other students.
If you start as a beginner you would be in our KickStart Khmer Evening 1 class. If you have some previous learning we can offer you a free placement test – if the teacher thinks KickStart 1-4 is too basic for you, you would join students in our Evening: Levels program in Level 3 or above.
Kickstart Khmer: Evening
This class been designed for those with a busy life who need the flexibility to join class from anywhere, just one evening per week. After completing Kickstart Evening 1 – 4 students will be ready to move on to Level 3 of our main program.

Kickstart Khmer: Basics Short Course
KickStart: Khmer Basics is a two weeks fun and engaging course that will give you all the basics that you need to thrive during your time in Cambodia, whether you’re here long or short term. Learn how to shop, get around the city, greetings and a lot of other basic skills.

- Monday to Friday (2 weeks)

Bespoke Training - Corporate and Visiting Teams
We offer language and culture training courses for groups, which can be hosted at our school, or at another location in Phnom Penh. This may be for corporate teams based in Cambodia or groups visiting from overseas.
We also love to teach groups of children (generally aged 12+), but we do ask that any under-18’s are accompanied by a responsible adult/ group leader. Contact us and we can develop a bespoke set of learning based on the hours the group has available and the ages of the learners.
