Types of Study
Important Update - Change from Monthly Intake to Term-based System starting from October 13th 2025.
The Term-based System will improve academic quality, scheduling consistency, and help everyone learn better together.
Each Term is 2 months with clear start and end dates. There are 5 Terms per year. Full time students will study two levels each term
while Part time students will study 1 level each term.
Full-Time

Evenings
Our evening program is online, and these classes are very popular with people all over Cambodia. Many people in Phnom Penh also appreciate the flexibility of being able to join from anywhere. The classes are highly engaging, and students really enjoy the quality of teaching and interaction with their teachers and fellow students.
If you are a beginner, you would start with our KickStart Khmer Evening 1 class. If you have some previous experience learning Khmer, we can offer you a free placement test. If the teacher determines that KickStart Khmer Evening Levels 1–4 are too basic for you, you can join our Evening: Levels program at Level 3 or above.
Kickstart Khmer: Evening
This class has been designed for people with busy lives who need the flexibility to join classes from anywhere, with just one evening of study per week. After completing KickStart Evening Levels 1–4, students will be ready to move on to Level 3 of our main program.

KickStart Khmer: Basics Short Course
KickStart: Khmer Basics is a two-week, fun and engaging course that will give you all the basic Khmer language skills you need to thrive during your time in Cambodia, whether you’re here for the long term or just a short time. Learn how to shop, get around the city, greet people, and use many other basic Khmer skills.

Bespoke Training – Corporate and Visiting Teams
We offer language and culture training courses for groups, which can be hosted at our school or at another location in Phnom Penh. This may be for corporate teams based in Cambodia or groups visiting from overseas.
We also love teaching groups of children (generally aged 12+), but we do ask that all under-18s are accompanied by a responsible adult or group leader. Contact us and we can develop a bespoke set of learning based on the number of hours the group has available and the ages of the learners.
